The project site is located in Erlang Town, Gulin County in Luzhou City, next to Chishui River basin that is naturally perfect for making good liquors. It is in the middle part of the cliff under Tianbao Peak. There are Tianbao Cave, Dibao Cave and Renhe Cave, which are the largest natural liquor-storage caves in the world.
The construction of heavy bamboo and steel
(corten steel) creates a 60-meter-long green tunnel to enhance the depth of the space. The bougainvillea of Xiyang is selected as the climbing plant, and the shadow of the whirling tree reflects the heavy bamboo frame.
The
corten steel pavilion is cantilevered on the pedestal. The pedestal room is the reception exhibition hall, facing the Chishui River side with horizontal long windows forming a distant mountain framed view.
The
weathering steel plank road winds up, connecting the bottom and upper channels. Gives a sense of precariousness. The
weathering steel plank road passes through the woods and crosses the road.
The basic functional area of
weathering steel building adopts fair-faced concrete and local stone to form the base of weathering steel building, which is integrated into the mountains and rivers. The
orange-red weathering steel structure is cantilevered on the base, and the pavilions are light and flying, conveying the oriental classical imagination of living in the mountains and rivers.
